Whether you’re on the run, on the trail or on the road, it’s not always easy to find something to eat as a vegan if you’re not prepared. Over the years, through much trial and error, I have found that it is always easiest to grab some sort of granola or energy bar before I leave the house. They’re always clutch when you’ve been running around all day and there isn’t a vegan-friendly meal or even snack in sight. However, usually on the verge of starvation, I will scarf the thing down and then still be looking for something else to eat.
